ADRIATECH DAY – Celebrating 23 Years of Business and Long-Standing Successful Partnership with HONEYWELL USA

Adriatec organized the AdriaTECH Day at the Hyatt, an event marking 23 years of business and a long-standing successful partnership with Honeywell USA. The event was graced by officials from the Government of the Republic of Serbia, representatives of the diplomatic corps, and the wider business community.

Dejan Ilić, founder and president of Adriatec, Technosector, and Technosigma, addressed the attendees, presenting business results, future plans, and emphasizing the importance of the partnership with the American company: “Our long-term collaboration with Honeywell means that we are recognized as a company with potential, but also that we share the same value system. We expect to be extremely successful in the Serbian market and the region with the new distribution program. We do all of this because we believe the future is promising and bright for us. We are a team that connects local intelligence with global technology.”

Milutin Đurić, Assistant Minister of Education for Student and Pupil Standards and Investments, highlighted the significant investments by the Ministry of Education in investment maintenance projects for educational facilities, which, among other things, includes investments in fire protection systems.

Alongside Mr. Đurić, the event was attended by Dejan Milovanović, Special Adviser to the Minister of Education, Darko Mitrović, State Secretary at the Ministry of Economy, and Aleksandar Milošević, State Secretary at the Ministry of Health, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

Rachel Djuran, Economic Attaché at the U.S. Embassy in Belgrade, emphasized the importance of U.S.-Serbia bilateral economic cooperation and congratulated Adriatec and Honeywell on their long-term partnership. She added that Serbia is a preferred business and investment location with enormous potential for mutual cooperation.

Our goal is to provide solutions that help transition from event detection to prevention, as well as increasing efficiency and productivity through integrated systems and processes, especially in a challenging work environment. Thanks to our long-term partner and distributor, Adriatec, domestic professionals will have access to these cutting-edge technologies,” said Mihai Brana, Commercial Leader for Southeast Europe at Honeywell.

After the opening remarks, attendees had the opportunity to get acquainted with the latest products from Honeywell in the field of fire protection systems, including those that meet the specific needs of various sectors such as:

  • Infrastructure – Variodyn 1, linear heat detection, lithium-ion control
  • Healthcare – MMS, gas detection, advanced detection
